Now people do get sniffy about this, saying people vote differently in a council election compared to a Westminster election, and I agree there is an element of that but I also think once a Saints fan always a Saints fan and no matter what the game I would follow them so unless they weren't playing I wouldn't be voting for them.
Same with politics you have Tory, Labour, etc and they will have vote for them always folks, new supporters may decide to vote for them now as a pre cursor. The ones which add to the confusion are Independents so they will be not bothered with if there is a lot.
This is just a notional exercise as folks as shown in Bristol West may vote Green for the councils think they won't win the member of parliament and vote Labour for the MP. But it is just as good an exercise as any polling which is guessing by what is said by 0.nothing of the total electorate this is from folks who have actually bothered to vote.
